Thea is attending the University of Southern California and pursuing a Biomedical Engineering degree. Thea has competed at the varsity track and field levels her entire high school career and has competed in varsity cross country her junior and senior years.

Thea is a competitive figure skater at the intermediate level, traveling out of state for many competitions, including the Arctic Winter Games in South Slave, Canada.

Thea is currently the treasurer of the University of Southern California track club. She still likes to stop by the Alaska Pole Vault Club to jump when visiting family.
